Plastic, snap, clip

People say plastic wristbands, snap wristbands, or plastic clip wristbands, and they mean the same band. It is a smooth plastic strap with a clip that pushes in. Once that clip is in, the loop will not come off over the hand.

You can have them plain, or you can have a word or a logo printed on them. Send the artwork and we will make a picture of it for you to approve before we make the real bands.

How the clip works

The clip is the whole point. It is how staff know the band has not been passed on.

    Put the band on the wrist

    Someone slides the strap around the wrist as people arrive, then lines the clip up.

    Push the clip in

    The clip clicks once. After that, the band will not come off over the hand.

    It stays until they leave

    If someone tries to force the band off and give it to a friend, the clip breaks the band. Staff can see that, and they do not let that person through.

Rain and sun

These bands are made to sit outside. Rain, sweat, and a day in the sun will not ruin them. If people will be swimming, silicone wristbands are a better fit, but those slide off, so do not use them to check who has paid.

If the night is one party in a hall, Tyvek is usually enough. Use the clip band when people must keep it on until they leave, or when the event runs through weather. If you are still choosing, start with event wristbands.
